Things have taken a turn for the worse for Charlie Sheen, who has been fired from his CBS sitcom "Two and a Half Men," according to a statement from Warner Bros. on Monday (March 7).

"After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen’s services on ’Two and a Half Men’ effective immediately," the statement reads.

The Obama administration is resuming military trials for terrorism suspects detained at the U.S. naval base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba — another step back from Obama’s 2008 campaign promise to close the prison.

The president also announced Monday that he was setting new review guidelines for the prisoners that he said would "broaden our ability to bring terrorists to justice, provide oversight for our actions, and ensure the humane treatment of detainees" — all signals that the White House does not foresee the facility being closed any time soon.

The New York Times reports that producers are asking the director to make major changes to the show or face the possibility of leaving the troubled Broadway musical.

The producers of the Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark are talking to director Julie Taymor about making big changes to the troubled production that could include her departure, the New York Times reported, citing sources.

Steve Jobs was still on stage introducing the new iPad 2 last week when my inbox and Twitter stream started filling up with the same question : “I want the iPad 2, but what can I do with my old iPad?”

At first I didn’t know how to respond. One would assume that selling the first generation iPad on eBay or Craigslist would be difficult because potential buyers would prefer the new and improved model.
