Ghana’s Asante Kotoko came from a goal down to stun Dolphins FC of Nigeria 4-1 and ease past the Nigerians on a 4-3 aggregate to the next round of the MTN/CAF Confederation Cup.

In the match, which was rescheduled for Monday after a downpour forced its stoppage Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, Kotoko let in an own goal through defender Prince Anokye early in the first half to set for itself an uphill task, as it had lost the first leg 2-nil.

Needing four goals to sail through, Kotoko produced the magic that secured it the qualification into the next round.

Samuel Inkoom pulled one goal back just before the break before Eric Bekoe made it 2-1 in the 66th minute.

Bekoe hit the back of the Dolphins’ net again in the 85th minute and set up a thrilling final five minutes which saw Kwabena Yaro clinching the crucial decider with just two minutes left on the clock.
