The early elimination of Nigeria’s national badminton champion Grace Daniel at the ongoing Beijing Olympics has been blamed on ”overweight”.

“The player arrived five days ahead of me and took on more weight than she could cope with,” coach Samson Egbeyemi said here.

Daniel does not agree with her coach, instead saying she lost so early due to nervousness.
