Democratic National Committee Chairman Tim Kaine Statement on Election of Roslyn M. Brock as the New Chairwoman of the N.A.A.C.P.

Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairman Tim Kaine issued the following statement regarding the election of Roslyn Brock as the new chairwoman of the N.A.A.C.P. :

“I am honored to congratulate Roslyn M. Brock on her election as the new Chair of the Board of Directors for the N.A.A.C.P. With her election Chairwoman Brock becomes only the fourth woman to serve in that position and the youngest Chair of this historic and venerable organization. As a former civil rights attorney I look forward to watching the continued success of the N.A.A.C.P. under Chairwoman Brock’s leadership as they continue to wage the fight for justice and equality.”
