The Detroit Branch NAACP will hold a press conference on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at 3:30 p.m. at the Detroit Branch NAACP located at 8220 Second Avenue in Detroit to unveil a special guest speaker for the 55th Annual Fight For Freedom Fund Dinner.
The 55th Annual Fight For Freedom Fund Dinner will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. at Cobo Conference Center. The theme for this year’s dinner is “Jobs! Jobs! Jobs! and National Healthcare: A Matter of Justice, Privilege or a Right?” The special guest speaker will be added to a powerhouse lineup headlined by Congressman James Clyburn (D-SC), House Majority Whip.
