Morocco to buy four Italian military aircrafts
Morocco is to buy four C-27J Spartan Italian military airplanes for 130 millions euro, the Moroccan media disclosed Monday. A transport and logistical support aircraft, the C-27J Spartan was made specially for parachuting operations, research, rescue and humanitarian assistance. Some months ago, Morocco signed several contracts aimed at improving its airforce. Early this year, the American government informed the Congress of its intention to sell Morocco 24 F-6 Hunters for US$ 2.4 billion which will be delivered from 2011.
