Zimbabwe to adopt Chinese currency? -
Mugabe should step aside and let someone else fix the economy. The attempt to adopt chinese currency amounts to lazy thinking. The chinese suffered to keep their currency & economy in shape. Their money is called "renminbi" meaning peoples money,Zimbabwe should look for a more indigenous name for her currency. Stop this immitation! Running from west to East isn't the solution. The flame began with Mugabe and has extinguished with him, someone else should be tried. - Wednesday 8 September 2010 - 18:16

I am an african who is deeply saddened by the fact that the country has no currency, who ever is to blame for this, government or government enemies, isnt what is to be run after. the cure to this problem to my mind would be for an imf or any other bretton wood instituiton loan to be sought for, to pay the central bank of zimbabwe debts, then sell government parastatals sell shares in all the government institutions buy international bonds pay staff who work. michaelordu2009@google.com - Tuesday 7 September 2010 - 21:51
