The obscene act of mistaking Barack Obama for Ossama Bin Laden

Mistaking the name of a good american for an arab gone mad is not just insane and obscene, it is simply an American insult. One that implies that anything not related to the pure white culture is dangerous.

The exactness of a well prepared journalist, particularly one that has once held the position of editor at the washington times, is a must. To suggest therefore that Liz Trotta mispronounced Obama’s name in what looks like a well rehearsed act would be a ‘missee’.

The argument that Fox news contributor Liz Trotta’s comment : “And now we have what some are reading as a suggestion that somebody knock off Osama, uh Obama. Well, both, if we could,” was a calculated cold blooded killer statement and not a slip of tongue is acceptable.

Liz Trotta was refering to another subtle suggestion made by Hillary Clinton only days ago when she evoked the assassination of Bobby Kennedy : “My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right? We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California. I don’t understand it”. The comment was, of course criticised, for its insensitivity to the security concerns surrounding Barack Obama.

Barack Obamas’ names have suffered numerous blows from both the media and fellow politicians. The seasoned politician Mitt Romney cunningly mistook Obama for Osama during his campaign last October, in what was described by the Obama campaign as fear mongering. Earlier in his campaign, he had posed in a photo with a supporter who held a placard which read “”No to Obama, Osama and Chelsea’s Moma.” Apologizing was only adhering to a polite and hypocritical formality as the damage intended had already been done.

Children have proved that Obama’s name rolls off the tongue with cheeky ease. Mispronouncing the name therefore reveals a wittingly concocted Freudian slip that seeks to ruin, by virtue of confusing the good guy for the bad guy.
