Another African nation on the table is Algeria, with one bronze, which is only good enough for a total overall placing of 32nd.

Togo represented by 27 year old BOUKPETI Benjamin in the Canoe/Kayak – Slalom Kayak (K1) Men was awarded with a bronze medal today, Tuesday.

Host China leads with 11 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze medals, followed by the US with 7 gold, six silver and 8 bronze medals.
