Widely known as a top model an actress and a mother, Noemie Lenoir reveals another facet of her personality, which is all about generosity and fun attitude. Last week, the young internationally acclaimed model gracefully dealt with what has been described as an excruciatingly embarrassing moment. Noemie Lenoir’s dress zipper popped open in full view of an attentive audience at an auction in Milan for AmfAR.

Reminiscent of Janet Jackson’s famous wardrobe malfunction, the scene had a touch of surreal impertinence, particularly due to Janet Jackson’s presence. It all happened when Noemie Lenoir’s dress zipper flew open whilst on stage at an auction for the American Association for research and the fight against AIDS, AmfAR.

In order to raise funds towards AIDS research, AmFAR, as usual, threw a gala auction and invited a line-up of some of the biggest stars including, Janet Jackson, Donatella Versace, Rachel Bilson, Kanye West, Dita Von Teese, Chanel Iman, Linda Evangelista as well as the lovely Noemie Lenoir. An evening with the latter had been auctioned at the gala which took place during the Milan fashion week.

Seconds after she had mounted the stage to auction her tête-à-tête soirée, her dress zipper snapped, revealing a tantalizing behind (fortunately she had not forgotten to don an underwear!). Without budging, Noemie graciously continued with her aution while the presenter frantically contorted his fingers in every way possible to close that recalcitrant zipper.

Kudos! The girl’s professionalism and good humor turned a potentially embarrassing moment into a practical joke and an interlude of laughter. It came as no surprise when an unnamed individual offered a modest sum of 11 000 euros to spend an evening with her.

The leading sale of the evening, a pair of crystal encrusted shoes that had specially been made for Michael Jackson, the late King of Pop, to be worn during his comeback concert in London and presented by his famous sister Janet Jackson, fetched less than 10 000 euros! A proof that Noemie’s incident was undoubtedly a pure case of turning a misfortune into gold. In all, AmFAR bagged over 750 000 euros for AIDS research.

The 30 year old Noemie Lenoir is one of the most famous black models both in France and the United Kingdom as well as the United States. She is both the face of Marks & Spencer and “Victoria Secrets Angels”, a name given to the beautiful girls who parade in the famous American lingerie brand. The lovely French lady is a living confirmation of the adage: No prophet is accepted in his own country!  Although she is a fashion force to reckon with and graces the covers of some of the most envious international magazines, Noemie Lenoir is almost invincible in France where she is nevertheless one of the brand ambassadors for L’Oreal. Despite her invincibility, Noemie Lenoir is the most famous black model in France. Rhetoric!
