President Levy Mwanawasa, was hospitalised in France Wednesday, where he was receiving medical care in the intensive care unit (ICU) at Percy Military Hospital in Paris, his condition was said to be stable early Thursday morning, according to Vice President Rupiah Banda.
The Zambian President was flown to Paris early Wednesday aboard an SOS international Air Ambulance, after he suffered a stroke at the AU summit in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, Sunday.
