South African police in Rustenburg have launched a manhunt for three women who held a 53-year-old man for three days, robbed him and also took turn to rape him.
Reports today say the man was allegedly forced to drink a cool drink believed to have been spiked with a sex drug.
The women then each took turns to rape him, Rustenburg police spokesperson Constable Dipuo Modiko told the media.
Constable Dipuo Modiko say according to the man’s statement to police, he was walking to Kroondal outside Rustenburg last Tuesday when three women in a black BMW stopped next to him. He accepted their offer of a lift.
The women are said to have first wanted to stop for fuel when their victim asked why they had driven past Kroondal.
Then a firearm was pointed at him. He was ordered to lie down on the back seat and a blanket was thrown over his head, he said.
“The man claims they stopped at a secluded spot at a house without a roof. He had to drink the cool drink that was offered to him. Then he was undressed. One woman took out a condom and had sex with him. The other two were next,” said Modiko.
According to the man, he was only released early on Friday morning. He had to get into the car and was dropped off next to the road. A passer-by picked him up and took him to the police station. The women apparently took his cellphone, R230, his ID document, keys and work card.
