Ivorian and Chelsea Power Forward, Didier Drogba has revealed that he most often gets drawn away into wonderland during the course of a game.

The striker admitted that he finds it impossible to stay focused during the whole 90 minutes as his thoughts often run wild.

He explained that it had to do with the pace of the game and how much of the ball he receives and his level of involvement in the game. ‘When I a m not seeing much of the ball, I begin to get distracted with several thoughts and sometimes when the ball comes to me at that moment I miss controlling it or I miss a scoring chance.’ He explained.

Drogba has seen his season plagued with injuries so far and the Ivorian hopes to shake it off and return to action as soon as possible.

He picked up an injury in his last outing for Chelsea and has missed key games so far. Chelsea is also currently without the service of Ghanaians Michael Essien through injury.
