Ghana – Tunisia friendly match confirms doubts

The Carthage Eagles of Tunisia held Ghana’s Black Stars to a 0-0 draw in an international friendly football match played at the Ohene Djan stadium. on Wednesday.

The performance of the Black Stars fell below the expectation of the almost 30,000 crowd that thronged the stadium in Accra with many wondering whether the team can qualify for South Africa 2010.

The Stars begin their campaign for the next round of the qualifiers for the 2010 World Cup/Africa Cup of Nations against Benin next March, but their output shows there is more to be done to revive the team.

Coach Milovan Rajevac also has a lot to worry about in respect to building a for midable team, as the Tunisians outplayed the Black Stars.
