As part of activities marking the Nelson Mandela Day in El Fasher and in its efforts to reach out to the teeming youths of Darfur, UNAMID Communications and Public Information Division has organized a scintillating inter-community football tournament captioned “Football for Peace.”
It is the Nelson Mandela Peace Cup!!!
The Sudanese international Musical star, Omar Ilhsas, flew in direct from Spain with his band to perform live at the closing ceremony on July 18, Nelson Mandela Day.
