‘Malcolm X’ chosen for National Film Registry

The Spike Lee classic, Malcolm X, was chosen by The Library of Congress as one of the 25 films that will be preserved in its National Film Registry.

The 1992 biography depicting the life of Civil Rights leader Malcolm X is riddled with a star cast and powerful cameos. Denzel Washington, Angela Bassett, Reverend Al Sharpton and Nelson Mandela are just a few of the people who filled out the roles illustrating those days and times.
