Whilst all the teams are busily preparing for the tournament, one of the number one newspapers in The Ivory Coast, Fraternité Matin, reported earlier this week that, The Ivorians were busily enjoying a fashion show highlighting designs and colour of participating countries in the sub-region.

1-1 was the result of a frustrating friendly match between coach Gili’s men, the Elephants and the Al Arabi club on Wednesday. Baky Koné equalised in the second half (66th minute). This disappointing results could be blamed on the departure of Uli Stielke (their original) to tend to his comatosed son the day before their departure for Kuwait where their training camp was based.
