Central African president appoints new premier

Central African President Francois Bozize Tuesday appointed Faustin Archange Touadera, a Professor of Mathematics in the University of Bangui, as prime minister, official sources told PANA in Bangui.

Touadera replaces former premier Elie Dote who quit 18 January following a vot e of no confidence on him by the parliament.
