Libyan and Tunisian experts on maritime issues on Saturday began their third meeting in Tripoli focusing on the foundations for the establishment joint work in the fields of scientific research, environment, fishing and maritime rescue operations. The experts including their heads of their maritime institutions and technical experts will also examine the development of maritime statutes in the Mediterranean. The meeting follows a decision arrived at during the bi-annual Libya-Tunisia High Executive Commission meeting held in Libya in December 2006
