Libyan leader Muammar Kadhafi on Tuesday night received Morocco’s foreign and cooperation minister, Taieb Fassi Fahri, who handed to him a message from King Mohamed VI relating to the Arab Maghreb Union (UMA) process, according to Libyan officials. In the message presented to Col. Kadhafi in Tripoli, the Moroccan king reiterated his country’s willingness to promote cooperation with Libya and strengthen ties in several areas. Tahar Siala, deputy secretary of the Libyan People’s General Committee for foreign relations and international cooperation and Fahri held a meeting on Tuesday night on how to promote and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, notably on investment in the oil sector. They also discussed several Arab and regional issues.
