The Mauritanian Football Association (FFRIM) on Thursday introduced Alain Moizan, a Franco-Senegalese, as the new coach of the senior national football team, the Mourabitounes. According to the FFRIM, Moizan, who will be paid 5,000 euros a month, will lead the Mourabitounes during the qualifying matches for the 2010 World Cup to be hel d in South Africa and Africa Cup of Nations scheduled for Angola in the same year . Moizan immediately declared: “We want to take our points of reference by positio ning ourselves among the leaders as early as the first round of qualifying matches.
