Egyptian tourist caravan visits Libya

The Secretary of the Libyan General Tourism and Handicrafts Board, Ammar Latayef, on Tuesday met his Egyptian counterpart, Amr Abdelfateh Al-Izabi, in Tripoli to discuss cooperation between the two countries in the tourism and cultural fields. The Egyptian delegation is in Libya under the framework of a tourist caravan comprising several experts and specialists of the ministries of tourism and interior , Egyptian Union of Chamber of Commerce, tourist companies and hotels, as well as artists and journalists. During their five-day stay, the caravan will be promoting tourist investment opportunities in Egypt. Some 450,000 Libyan tourists visited Egypt in 2007. Panapress
