A South African national, Geoffrey Ignatius du Preez, 61 years, was condemned Tuesday in Port-Louis, to ten years in prison after he pleaded guilty to the possession of 320 grammes of heroin. He was arrested on the January 25 at an airport in the south of the Mauritius island. Mr. Preez had hidden the drugs in a pair of shoes.
