The Beninese government has again shifted the dates for the municipal and local polls from 13 to 20 April. The decision was made at an extraordinary cabinet meeting, an official source disclosed Wednesday. The latest postponement followed a meeting between President Yayi Boni and members of the Autonomous National Electoral Commission(CENA), the body in charge of organising the elections. As a result, the date for the closing of nominations for the municipal polls was shifted to 9 March and the local polls to 14 March. Panapress
