ECCAS summit on Chad to hold Monday in Kinshasa

An extraordinary heads of state and government summit of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) will hold next Monday in Kinshasa on the situation in Chad, the Congolese Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ministry said here Thursday. According to the same source, the summit will assess the political and security situation in Chad. The meeting will be presided over by ECCAS incumbent Chairman, Congolese President Joseph Kabila. The Congolese cabinet has been participating in a workshop on ECCAS since Tuesday.
