Lebanese shot in Nigeria

Thieves shot and wounded a Lebanese businessman in Port Harcourt, the River State capital a hotbed of insecurity and violence, said a police statement. The police chief of the River State, Felix Ogbaudu, told the press that the robbers invaded the home of the businessman, in the Trans Amadi neighbourhood. According to him, although the lebanese businessman’s head was injured during the robbery, doctors succeeded in keeping him alive. Criminal acts including kidnappings from criminal organisations are on the increase in the petrol rich Delta region in Nigeria.
