Cameroonians drown in sea accident

At least 11 Cameroonian students drowned Saturday off the coast of Conakry on their way to Soro island, located about 10 km from the Guinean capital. According to Guinean television, a dugout carrying 39 people, including 13 Cameroonian students, capsized before reaching the island, where one of the students was to celebrate his birthday. Rescue workers managed to save 25 people and retrieve the bodies of seven others, while more were reported missing by Guinean television.
