The government of Cross River state in Nigeria’s South-east is offering 45 million naira (about US$385,000) as reward for anyone with information that can lead to the unraveling of the fate of a light plane which went missing last Saturday during a domestic flight. The offer came amid growing anger and disappointment that the authorities could not find the plane, a Beechcraft 1900D that was flying from the commercial city of Lagos to the Bebi Airstrip in Cross River. Three crew members were on board the aircraft at the time it went missing. Panapress.
