Fourteen passengers, mainly traders, died on Tuesday when a bus on which they were travelling was involved in an accident with a pickup on a hill at Mamfe, about 40 kilometres north Accra. Assistant Commissioner of Police Addae Acheampong said another 22 passengers wer e seriously hurt and have been sent to hospitals. He said both vehicles were descending a hill when the bus developed a mechanical fault, hit the rear of the pickup and both plunged into a ditch. Panapress.
