13 dead in building collapse

Some 13 school children were killed when the fence of the building near their school collapsed in Nigeria’s South-west city of Ibadan, the local Nation newspaper reported Wednesday. The fence of the building, which is beside the Living Water Nursery and Primary School in the suburb of the city, reportedly collapsed around 12.30 pm local time Tuesday, killing the pupils who were writing their terminal examination. Several pupils and teachers were also said to be injured, while the school proprietor was said to have suffered a spinal cord injury.
