The only boat that linked the Cape Verdean islands of Maio, Fogo and Brave, capsized Tuesday next to Santiago but the 108 passengers o n board had been rescued by fishermen in the area. The boat, the “Musteru” left the port of Praia, the capital, Monday night for Fo go Island. According to maritime officials, the accident was caused by violent winds, notin g that the passengers had been rushed safe and sound to Port Mosquito. On 3 April, a ferry belonging to the same private company sanked after failing t he day before on the coast of the Fogo Island without any victim.
