The CAF Confederation Cup match between Nigeria’s Dolphins FC and Ghana’s Asante Kotoko was due to be replayed Monday (12 May), after a downpour forced a stoppage of the encounter midway on Sunday. The relentless rain forced the Angolan match officials to call off the tie, played at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, and reschedule it for Monday at the same venue. Kotoko was leading 1-0 before the postponement, after striker Jordan Opoku scored in a controversial circumstances in the 43rd minute.
