Zimbabwe’s Dynamos Football Club said Tuesday it would pay its players a whopping Z$300 billion (Z$200 million = US$1) each bonuses for upstaging Tunisia’s Etoile du Sahel, the reigning African Champions, from this year’s tournament at the weekend. The Zimbabwean side bagged a rare 1-0 victory against the Tunisians in their own backyard at the weekend to progress to the next round of the African Champions league on a 2-0 aggregate. The victory sent Dynamos fans into wild celebrations back home. This is the biggest soccer prize paid to local players in the country
