The death toll of the earthquake that shook China this weekend keeps on rising, reaching an estimated 15,000 today according to BBC News. The quake, 7.9 on the Richter scale, hit Southwest China devastated entire towns and tens of thousands of people are still believed to be trapped in the rubble. The earthquake is the deadliest natural disaster in China since the 1976 quake that killed at least 240,000.
