Customs officials in Mali on Monday arrested a Mozambican and a national of Guinea Bissau near Guinea border with 1.5 kilogrammes of cocaine. A Malian customs official said Tuesday that the two men, who were entering Mali from Guinea Conakry, hid some 46 wrappers of cocaine round their waists. The thorough search by the customs officials on the passengers in a taxi in which they were traveling helped to uncover the drug. They will be arraigned before a tribunal in the next couple of days.
