France on Wednesday offered to send a team of investigators to Khartoum to help the Sudanese authorities find the cause of Tuesday’s plane crash in the Sudanese capital. “France is ready to send a team of investigators to Khartoum,” the spokesperson for the foreign ministry Mrs. Pascale Andreati said in Paris. An Airbus of Sudan Airways crashed on landing on Tuesday at Khartoum airport kil ling dozens of passengers. Meanwhile, the French minister of foreign and European Affairs, Bernard Kouchner, has sent a message of sympathy to Sudan following the accident. In a statement, he wrote: “In these circumstances, I wish to express my deepest sympathy and condolence and those of France to the families of the victims as well as my profound solidarity in this sad time.”
