Hosts Burundi disappointed their fans here Sunday when they went down 1-0 to Tunisia in the joint African nations cup/World cup qualifier. Tunisia’s goal was scored by defender Djaidi 10 minutes to the end of the match. Burundi is in the same group as Burkina Faso, Tunisia and the Seychelles. The loss to Tunisia is Burundi’s second in the series. They were beaten 2-0 by Burkina Faso but managed to beat Seychelles 1-0 at home. Burkina Faso is currently atop that group with Tunisia, Burundi and Seychelles lie second, third and fourth respectively.
