Here are the results of the 5th round of the African Cup of Nation (CAN) boxing championships Thursday at the Vacoas Boxing Center in Central Mauritius. Category of 48 kg : Jafet Uutoni (Namibie) beat Mogajane Bathusi (Botswana) (3-3 , 10-5, 16-8, 21-10) ; Thomas Essomba (Cameroon) won by default Ramy Elawady (Egypt) in the first round. Category of 51 kg : Jackson Chauke (South Africa) beat Kgomotso Bok (Botswana) ( 3-0, 7-1, 9-1, 12-2) ; Suleiman Bilali (Kenya) beat Cassius Chiyanka (Zambia) (5 – 0, 9-1, 11-4, 14-6). Category of 64 kg : Franck Amoussou (Benin) defeated Hastings Bwalya (Zambia) by default.
