Kenya’s Harambee Stars held Zimbabwe Warriors to a barren draw in the return leg of the World Cup cum Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Rufaro Stadium, in Harare Sunday. The Warriors, who were two points adrift of leaders Kenya, were hoping to win the game in Harare but they found the going tough as the visiting Stars thwarted all their efforts. Kenya, coached by first-time national coach Francis Kimanzi, stood firm and main tained their group lead with seven points, despite playing on the unfamiliar artificial surface at the Rufaro Stadium. The draw in Harare saw Kenya maintain the Group Two lead with seven points, followed by Zimbabwe with five. Other group members, Namibia, hitherto tying with Zimbabwe on four points apiece, but occupying the third spot on account of superior goal difference, were battling it out with Guinea.
