Main adviser at the Mauritanian presidency appointed President of the Supreme Press and Audiovisual Authority

Professor Idoumou Ould Mohamed Lemine has been appointed President of the Supreme Press and Audiovisual Authority (HAPA), the media regulatory body in Mauritania, according to a presidential decree issued Friday. Lemine, a university professor, is a member of the media family, having been the editorial director of a privately-owned newspaper. Until his appointment, he was the main adviser at the Mauritanian presidency.
