Nigeria’s Olubayo Adefemi eyes two celebrations at Beijing Olympics

It will be double celebration for Olubayo Adefemi if Nigeria runs over the US and picks a quarter-final ticket in the men’s football event of the Beijing Olympics on Wednesday. The defender will clock 23 on the same day Nigeria is billed to play its last group game in the men’s event. But a member of the Nigerian women’s football team, Edith Eduaviere, may not be so lucky as she will probably be back home in Nigeria on Monday, when she will clock 22. Super Falcons are already out of the competition, though they will play against Brazil in their final group game Tuesday.
