At least 11 people were killed and 68 others wounded in a grenade attack on Saturday evening in Gitega, a city located in the centre of Burundi, according to the spokesperson of the national police force, Chanel Ntarabaganyi. Ntarabaganyi said all the victims were guests at a marriage party, and that the suspected attacker is the half-brother of the groom. The spokesman said a search of the suspect’s residence on Sunday morning left to the discovery of a “made-in-China” grenade.
