In one of his official duties since returning from a prolonged trip to Saudi Arabia, Nigerian President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua has sacked the Secretary to the government, Alhaji Babagana Kingibe. According to a statement from the presidential spokesperson here, Olusegun Adeniyi, President Yar’Adua has named Defence Minister Yayale Ahmed, as the new Sectretary to the government of the Federation. With his health condition still a subject of intense media speculation, Yar’Adua returned to his desk Monday, two days after he returned from the Saudi trip.
