Ten people were burnt to death when a Mitsubishi truck in which they were traveling over-turned, PANA reports, reported the state-run Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC) Friday. The light truck was also carrying drums of petrol and diesel when the accident occurred. Police public relations officer Bonnie Kapeso said the accident occurred in central Mkushi’s Mpalashya area Thursday night after the driver lost control of the vehicle. Kapeso said all the 10 people on board, including the driver of the truck, were burnt to death. Police officers who rushed to the scene after the accident could not retrieve the bodies as the vehicle was still on fire at the time.
