Mali has banned the importation of milk, butter and cheese from China, the National Trade and Competition Division (DNCC) confirmed Saturday. The decision was informed by the death of several thousand Chinese children due to melanin, a highly toxic product, contained in milk. Mali has thereby, added its name to the list of countries that have banned the importation of Chinese dairy products.
