The Netherlands has given Benin food aid estimated at CFA 1.05 billion, part of which has been earmarked for school lunch. The fund, channelled through the World Food Programme (WFP), will benefit 76,365 persons including 15,329 school children, official sources said. The aid will be used to buy 2,299 tons of maize, 230 tons of beans and 138 tons of oil to be distributed in 132 villages.
