
Nigeria’s President Umaru Yar’Adua Thursday appointed three special advisers in an effort to strengthen the government of national unity (GNU) which he heads, according to a statement from his office. They are Senator Saidu Umar Kumo, Special Adviser to the President (Inter-Party Relations); Prince Chineme Ume-Ezeoke (Civil Society Relations) and Prince Ebuta Ojong Ayuk (Informal Sector Coordinator). The statement said the appointment was made on the recommendation of one of the parties in the GNU, the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP).
