President Joseph Kabila of DR Congo Friday appointed Adolphe Muzito as the country’s new Prime Minister to replace Antoine Gizenga who resigned 25 September. According to sources close to the government, Muzito’s appointment is in keeping with the alliance between the ruling party and the Unified Lumumbist Party (PALU). Muzito is from the same party with his predecessor (Gizenga).
