Canadian uranium producer Forsys Metals Corp said Wednesday that it had entered into exclusive negotiations regarding the potential sale of the company, which is exploring and mining uranium in Namibia. Forsys, which is primarily listed on the Toronto stock exchange and has a secondary listing on the Namibian bourse, said it had appointed CIBC World Markets Inc as its financial adviser in connection with the process. The company did not give details on the potential sale. Forsys, an emerging uranium producer wholly owns Valencia uranium project in Namibia. The company, in addition, has an extensive portfolio of uranium exploration projects in Namibia.
