Gambian High Court remand policemen and three others on robbery charges

The High Court in Banjul Monday remanded five men, including two policemen, pending trial for robbery charges, authoritative sources in Banjul confirmed. Justice Joseph Wowo of the criminal division of the High Court ordered for the five accused to be kept in the remand wing of Gambia’s Central Prison at “Mile Two” till 20 November when their case was adjourned to. The suspects are sergeants Bala Musa Saidy and Modou Lamin Bah of Gambia Militar y Police, while their civilian co-accused included: Amadou Bailo Camara, Mankamang Sanneh and Mamadi Darboe.
